Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Time Token Berbantuan Media Audio Visual Terhadap Kemampuan Argumentasi Peserta Didik
Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of time token model assisted by audio visual media to the argumentation skills of seventh grade MTsN 2 Ponorogo students. This research was quantitative descriptive by Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The samples of this research were VII C (experimental class) and VII D (control class) with a total 54 students. The instrument of this research was essay tes. Essay test was applied before and after using time token model assisted audio visual media. The data of the research were analyzed by t-test using software minitab. The result showed that the P-value was 0,001; due to P-value less than 0.05, so H0 was rejected. Its mean that, there was a significant differences between the students argumentation skills that used time token model assisted by audio visual media with the students argumentation skills that used conventional study.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran time token berbantuan media audio visual terhadap kemampuan argumentasi peserta didik kelas VII di MTs Negeri 2 Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII D sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 54 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa soal essay yang diberikan kepada peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya model pembelajaran time token berbantuan media audio visual. Data yang telah didapatkan kemudian dianalisis dengan uji-t menggunakan Minitab. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa nilai P-value sebesar 0,001. Karena nilai P-value kurang dari 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan argumentasi peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran time token berbantuan media audio visual dengan kemampuan argumentasi peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.
