Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Operasi Hitung Perkalian Pecahan Biasa Melalui Metode Tutor Sebaya Pada Siswa Kelas VI Semester I SDN Bendo 2 Blitar
Abstract
Abstract: School is one of the places where students get formal knowledge, a place to gather, play and a variety of fun between one student and another so that interaction occurs. School is also a place where teaching and learning activities take place and a place for interaction between teachers and students. In the UPT Education Unit of SDN Bendo 2, Blitar City, there is a lack of cooperation with peers, this causes a lack of improvement in learning outcomes for students who are less intelligent. It can be seen that in the initial learning, only 10 students got results from 32 students or 32% had not achieved mastery of the material according to the 75% KKM. For this reason, classroom action research is needed using appropriate learning methods. The method used is the Peer Tutor Method which is a learning strategy that utilizes students who have privileges, intelligence and skills in the classroom to help provide explanations, guidance and direction to other students whose intelligence is somewhat lacking or slow in accepting lessons of almost the same age or classmate.
Abstrak: Sekolah merupakan salah satu tempat dimana siswa mendapatkan ilmu secara formal, tempat berkumpul, bermain dan berbagai keceriaan antara siswa yang satu dengan siswa yang lainnya sehingga terjadi interaksi. Sekolah juga merupakan tempat dimana kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung dan tempat terjadinya interaksi antara guru dan murid. Di UPT Satuan Pendidikan SDN Bendo 2 Kota Blitar pembelajaran kurang adanya kerja sama dengan teman sebaya, hal ini yang menyebabkan kurangnya peningkatan hasil belajar bagi siswa yang kurang pandai. Dapat diketahui pada pembelajaran awal mendapatkan hasil dari 32 siswa hanya 10 siswa atau 32% belum mencapai penguasaan materi sesuai KKM 75%. Untuk itu diperlukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah Metode Tutor Sebaya merupakan suatu strategi pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan siswa yang mempunyai keistimewaan, kepandaian dan kecakapan di dalam kelas untuk membantu memberikan penjelasan, bimbingan dan arahan kepada siswa lain yang kepandaiannya agak kurang atau lambat dalam menerima pelajaran yang usianya hampir sama atau sekelas.
