Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Siswa XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Leuwiiliang
Abstract
Penelitian Tindkan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar geografi pada Keragaman Budaya Bangsa Indonesia melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE), pada siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Leuwiliang. Subjek penerima tindakan adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Leuwiliang bagian sesi B yang terdiri dari 10 siswa perempuan dan 5 siswa laki laki dan subjek pemberi tindakan adalah guru geografi kelas XI IPS 2. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan model alur, yaitu data dianalisis sejak tindakan pembelajaran dilaksanakan dan dikembangkan selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasme siswa meningkat dari skor 95,4 pada siklus 1 menjadi 96,7 pada siklus kedua. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari rata-rata 69,93 (46% siswa tuntas) sebelum perlakuan menjadi 80,07 (80% siswa tuntas) pada silus kesatu dan 90,33 (100% siswa tuntas) pada siklus kedua. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) pada Keragaman Budaya Bangsa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa, dan (2) penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) pada Keragaman Budaya Bangsa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
